Cobalt, Chromium, Tungsten Alloy recommended for Metal to Metal abrasion involving high temperatures and or corrosion sensitive areas. Usually very hard and difficult to machine but very wear resistant. Typically sold in 36" long rods for GTAW |

Similar in function to Cobalt #6 with higher hardness range. #12 is higher in Tungsten alloy and has diffent ratings for wear and weldability. Rockwell C-47 Hardness. Sold in 14", 18" and 36" long rods for GTAW. |

This cobalt alloy with the addition of a higher carbon content gives a relative high volume of carbides within themicro structure. Better suited for severe abrasion with moderate impact strength requirements. RC 54 hardness. |
